Looking for a delicious and healthy dessert option? Try this vegan mousse recipe that's sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without any guilt. With its creamy texture and decadent flavour, this dessert is perfect for any occasion and can be whipped up in no time. Plus, it's completely vegan-friendly, so everyone can enjoy it!

Gather your ingredients.

To make this easy vegan mousse, you'll need just a few simple ingredients. You'll need vegan milk chocolate, silken tofu, instant coffee, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. You can also add in some sweetener of your choice, like maple syrup or agave, if you prefer a sweeter dessert. Make sure your tofu is at room temperature before you start, as this will help it blend more easily. Once you have everything you need, you're ready to get started!

Blend the tofu and sweetener.

The first step in making your creamy vegan tofu mousse is to blend the silken tofu and sweetener together in a food processor or blender. You can use maple syrup, agave nectar, or any other sweetener of your choice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with no lumps or chunks of tofu remaining. This will form the base of your mousse and give it its silky texture.

Melt the chocolate and add to the mixture.

Once your tofu and sweetener mixture is smooth, it’s time to add the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once the chocolate is melted, add it to the tofu mixture and blend until fully combined. This will give your mousse its rich chocolate flavour. If you want to add any additional flavours, such as vanilla extract or coffee, now is the time to do so. Blend until everything is fully combined and smooth.

Add in any additional flavours or toppings.

Once your vegan mousse is fully blended and smooth, it’s time to get creative with flavours and toppings. You can add in a splash of mint extract for a choc-mint flavour, or a shot of espresso for a mocha twist. For toppings, try fresh berries, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Get creative and make it your own!

Chill and serve.

After you’ve added your desired flavours and toppings, it’s time to chill your vegan mousse. Cover the mixture and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to allow it to set. Once it’s chilled, serve it up in individual cups or bowls and enjoy your guilt-free dessert!
